About Ellen
I am a friendly, patient and encouraging piano tutor who aims to make every lesson enjoyable and supportive. I understand that every student learns differently, so I adapt my teaching style to suit each individual’s needs, ability and goals.
With Grade 8 Piano and experience accompanying performers at church services and weddings, I bring both musical knowledge and practical performance experience to my lessons.
Whether you are a complete beginner or looking to develop your existing skills, I will help you build confidence and enjoy your musical journey.

I take a patient, encouraging and personalized approach to teaching piano. I adapt lessons to each student’s level, learning pace and goals, combining practical playing with music theory, technique, sight-reading and preparation for exams where appropriate.
Lessons are typically 30–60 minutes, depending on the student’s age, level and needs.
I completed my Grade 8 Piano examinations in 2020 and achieved my Senior Certificate in 2021. I also have experience accompanying performers for church music services and weddings.
My lessons are suitable for beginners and developing pianists, including children and adults who would like to learn for enjoyment, personal development or to work towards piano examinations.
