About Martina
With more than 9 years of piano teaching experience, I specialize in helping college students become confident and expressive pianists. My lessons are personalized and designed around each student’s strengths, interests, and musical goals. I combine traditional piano training with innovative approaches like improvisation, modern music arrangements, and interactive sight-reading practice.
I focus on technique, rhythm, music theory, and performance preparation while encouraging creativity and self-expression. I believe piano learning should be enjoyable and inspiring. My aim is to help students improve step by step, gain confidence, and build a strong connection with music that lasts beyond the classroom.

My piano teaching approach combines creativity, mentorship, and accountability. I focus on helping students develop technical skills, musical understanding, and self-confidence.
Creativity is encouraged through improvisation, exploring various music genres, and playing songs that interest students. Lessons are engaging and allow students to express themselves naturally.
As a mentor and critical thinker, I explain rhythm, finger technique, scales, chords, and musical expression in simple, clear steps. Students are guided to analyze their playing and improve independently.
Accountability is built through goal setting, structured practice routines, and regular feedback. This ensures students stay focused, disciplined, and consistent in their learning.
Along with piano, I teach music theory, sight reading, ear training, rhythm training, keyboard skills, and basic composition to support full musical development.
