About Mira
My teaching methodology for Piano is centred around Communication, Empathy, Collaboration, and Integrity. I believe that building a strong teacher-student relationship is key to fostering a positive learning environment. Through clear communication, I ensure that each student understands their goals and the steps needed to achieve them. Empathy allows me to connect with students, understand their individual learning styles, and adapt lessons to their unique needs and interests. I encourage students to actively participate in their learning journey, helping them develop both technical skills and creative expression. I also emphasise integrity by instilling the value of consistent practice, honesty in progress, and respect for the art of music. Alongside piano lessons, I can teach relevant subjects like music theory, ear training, and composition, all of which complement and enhance piano skills, ensuring a well-rounded musical education.

With over 10 years of experience, I specialise in teaching piano to students ranging from school to college levels. My approach blends traditional methods with innovative techniques to ensure a comprehensive learning experience tailored to each student’s unique needs. Whether you’re a beginner or an advanced player, I focus on creating a solid foundation in performance, theory, and composition. I believe in fostering a supportive, encouraging environment where students can develop both technical skills and musical expression. My lessons include a mix of sight-reading, ear training, improvisation, and creative composition, allowing students to explore their musical interests while improving their proficiency. I use a personalised curriculum that incorporates modern music theory, rhythm exercises, and practical applications to keep students engaged and motivated. I also emphasise the importance of regular practice and self-discipline, offering students the tools and strategies to excel in their musical journey. From classical to contemporary styles, my goal is to help you unlock your full musical potential and develop a lifelong passion for the piano.
