About Katie
I have a strong passion for music and have been playing the piano for the past 11 years. I am enthusiastic about teaching piano and understand what it's like to start from the beginning. I believe it is an extremely rewarding job and I would love the opportunity to share my love for piano with others. I will prioritise creating a relaxing and encouraging environment and can adapt my lessons to suit each student's pace to ensure lessons feel enjoyable rather than stressful. As I do not intend on taking on a lot of students, each pupil I have will have my full commitment to their lessons.

I am a university student with Grade 8 piano qualification, offering piano lessons for beginner students. While I am new to tutoring, I am patient, supportive, and passionate about helping students build strong foundations in piano playing. Lessons will be at a reduced rate and will focus on basic technique, note reading, rhythm, and developing confidence at a comfortable pace. I aim to create a relaxed and encouraging learning environment, ideal for children or adults who are just starting their piano journey. I am happy to offer online or face-to-face lessons for students within the Reading area.
