About Violet
I earned a PhD in Piano Performance and have spent 13 years teaching students with different musical interests and experience levels. Helping learners develop technical confidence while discovering their artistic voice has been one of the greatest rewards of my profession. Every student's success inspires me to continue improving as a teacher.
My teaching approach combines structured learning, patience, and creativity. I adapt every lesson to suit individual goals while creating a positive environment where students enjoy making progress. Confidence grows naturally through consistent encouragement and practical learning.
Outside teaching, I enjoy composing piano music, accompanying vocalists, and studying performance traditions from different cultures. These experiences allow me to bring fresh musical ideas into every lesson. Helping students experience the joy of piano continues to be one of my greatest passions.

My piano lessons help students build strong musical foundations while encouraging creativity and enjoyment. We work on finger independence, rhythm accuracy, sight reading, scales, chord progressions, pedal control, dynamics, ear training, duet playing, improvisation, and expressive performance through practical and engaging activities. Every lesson develops technical ability alongside musical understanding.
Classes include rhythm exercises, score reading, listening activities, creative improvisation, technique practice, performance preparation, and personalised learning plans. I explain every concept clearly so students understand how music works instead of relying only on repetition. Encouraging feedback supports continuous improvement and growing confidence.
I believe learning piano should be inspiring and enjoyable. My lessons help students become independent musicians who perform with confidence and creativity. Every class encourages curiosity while building lasting musical skills that continue beyond the lesson.
