About Bruce
I am a piano tutor with 12 years of experience and a PhD in Piano Performance. I enjoy helping students discover the joy of music through patient teaching and carefully planned lessons.
My lessons focus on understanding, consistency, and individual progress. I adapt every class to the student's learning style while encouraging confidence and creative thinking.
Outside teaching, I enjoy composing piano music, performing at recitals, and studying keyboard works from different musical periods. These experiences help me create inspiring and practical learning experiences.

My piano lessons help students develop reliable playing skills while enjoying the learning process. We practice note reading, rhythm, scales, finger coordination, chord progressions, pedal techniques, sight reading, dynamics, musical phrasing, and expressive interpretation through practical exercises and engaging pieces. Every lesson supports steady progress and confidence.
As learners continue improving, we introduce improvisation, accompaniment techniques, duet performance, ear training, recital preparation, interpretation, creative performance, and effective practice planning. I provide personalized coaching that helps students become expressive and independent musicians.
My goal is to help students perform confidently while building strong technical and musical foundations. Every lesson develops creativity, discipline, and lasting appreciation for piano.
