About Blair
I am a piano teacher with 5 years of experience and a Master’s Degree in Piano Performance. During my teaching career, I have worked with learners of various ages and backgrounds, helping them strengthen technique and develop confidence. Watching students grow as musicians is one of the most enjoyable aspects of my work.
My teaching philosophy combines structure, creativity, and encouragement. I believe every student benefits from lessons that are adapted to their learning style and goals. Creating a supportive environment helps learners stay motivated and engaged.
Outside the classroom, I enjoy collaborative performances, studying piano literature, and exploring new teaching strategies. These experiences bring fresh perspectives into my lessons. I look forward to helping students enjoy music while reaching their full potential at the piano.

My piano lessons are designed to help students build strong musical foundations while enjoying the learning process. We focus on note reading, rhythm accuracy, finger strength, hand coordination, chord progressions, and expressive playing through structured and engaging activities. Lessons encourage both technical growth and creative exploration.
Students take part in sight-reading practice, rhythm exercises, duet activities, repertoire study, and performance preparation. I tailor lessons to each learner’s goals and experience level, ensuring steady and meaningful progress. Every session combines practical learning with musical enjoyment.
I enjoy helping learners gain confidence at the piano while developing lasting musical skills. Through patient instruction and positive feedback, students become more comfortable expressing themselves through music. My goal is to create a rewarding learning experience that supports long-term musical growth.
