About Myla
I hold a Bachelor of Music and a Master of Music in Piano Performance, and I have 12 years of experience teaching piano to students of different ages and skill levels. My journey with the piano began with a deep interest in music, which gradually developed into a passion for teaching and sharing knowledge. Over the years, I have worked with many students, helping them build strong technical skills and musical confidence through structured and supportive lessons.
My teaching approach focuses on patience, clarity, and consistency. I believe every student learns at a different pace, so I adapt my lessons to match their needs and comfort level. I use simple explanations, step-by-step guidance, and regular practice techniques to help students improve steadily. I also encourage students to enjoy the learning process and stay motivated. Creating a positive and comfortable environment is very important to me because it helps students grow with confidence.
Outside of teaching, I continue practicing piano, exploring different music styles, and improving my own skills. This helps me bring fresh ideas into my lessons and keep them engaging. Teaching piano is very meaningful to me because I enjoy helping students discover their musical abilities, build confidence, and express themselves through music.

Piano lessons become more meaningful when students clearly understand how music is structured and how their hands work together to create sound. My lessons focus on building strong fundamentals such as hand coordination, finger strength, rhythm, note reading, and musical expression. I explain each concept in a simple and clear way so students can follow comfortably and apply it during practice. Every lesson includes exercises, scales, and pieces that help students improve step by step. I create a calm and supportive environment where students feel confident to learn, practice, and grow without pressure.
Beginners start with basic notes, simple hand positions, and easy pieces that help build comfort with the keyboard. Intermediate learners work on improving coordination, reading music more fluently, and playing more structured compositions. Advanced students focus on expression, dynamics, and performance skills. I adjust lessons based on each student’s level and learning pace, ensuring steady and comfortable progress. Regular practice routines and feedback help students build confidence and accuracy over time.
Learning piano helps students develop focus, discipline, and creativity. As students improve, they enjoy expressing emotions through music and feel a strong sense of achievement. Many learners become more confident in their abilities and develop a deeper appreciation for music. My goal is to make piano learning simple, enjoyable, and rewarding so that students stay motivated and continue improving with confidence.
