About Caoimhe
Hi, I'm Caoimhe, I'm 19 and have been playing piano since I was 8. Learning an instrument, especially piano, is a really precious thing and a skill you can carry with you anywhere. Learning the piano can be hard at times but my aim is for piano to be a fun, stress-free learning environment where my students learn to love and appreciate music. I have worked with students of varying ages, in person and online, and find teaching to be incredibly fulfilling. I wish for them to find the same level of enjoyment I find from piano, whatever their level may be. I've performed at many competitions over the years, even being lucky enough to perform at my piano school's excellence awards, but for me, piano is something personal and learning piano should be about your own enjoyment more than anyone else's. Whether you are a beginner or an intermediate student, I look forward to helping you achieve your musical goals.

I love music and aim to inspire this same enthusiasm in my students, helping them find joy in the process of learning. My teaching approach combines auditory learning (ability to play by ear) and sight-reading so you can play any pieces you want, all kinds of styles. Lessons will include learning scales, music theory, and pieces, providing a comprehensive understanding of piano playing. Each lesson is catered uniquely to the student, with the aim for each student to be able to play pieces they enjoy and work toward achieving their personal goals. I teach based on the principles of encouragement, kindness and patience. I wish for each of my students to truly love the piano.
