About Matt

I am a university student at UCL who achieved a merit for grade 8 (arbsm) piano performance. I have performed twice in the Christchurch priory for an audience over 200 and many times in other performance spaces accross the UK and in abroard. I was part of a youth handbell team who have performed in the Royal Albert Hall and have performed in the Sagrada Familia in Barcelona.

About the lesson

Since I was taught by a high level musician myself, I have developed a great number of efficient practising techniques that will be taught, in time to students. I can either simply teach you how to play pieces of music, or even better, how to be musical and have a good touch on the piano or keyboard. I will teach the student how to sight-read as well as methods to improve it. I will also cover music theory so the student can understand why music sounds the way it does.
