About Faye

I am an experienced Piano instructor with over 12 years of teaching experience. Throughout my teaching journey, I have helped school students, college students, and working professionals improve their skills and gain confidence as musicians.

My teaching philosophy focuses on communication, consistency, and positive encouragement. I believe students achieve the best results when they feel supported and motivated throughout their learning process.

My lessons include piano techniques, scales, chords, rhythm training, sight reading, ear training, music theory, improvisation, and performance preparation. I focus on helping students understand music while developing strong technical abilities.

Apart from Piano, I teach keyboard skills and foundational music theory. These subjects provide students with a complete understanding of music and support their long-term growth.

My goal is to create a positive learning environment where students enjoy learning, overcome challenges, and achieve their musical aspirations with confidence.

About the lesson

My teaching approach is built on communication, creativity, flexibility, and positive encouragement. I believe students achieve the best results when they enjoy learning and clearly understand each step of their musical journey. My lessons are adapted to each student's learning style and pace.

Students first master posture, hand position, rhythm, finger exercises, note reading, and music theory. These fundamentals prepare them for learning scales, chords, arpeggios, dynamics, pedal techniques, expressive playing, sight reading, and performance preparation.

I teach through demonstrations, guided practice, listening exercises, and regular revision. Students receive personalised feedback that helps them improve steadily while building confidence. I encourage students to think independently and understand the purpose behind every exercise.

Learning different musical styles helps students become flexible musicians. Creative activities such as accompaniment, improvisation, and musical interpretation strengthen confidence and artistic expression.

Besides piano, I teach keyboard fundamentals, rhythm exercises, ear training, music theory, sight reading, music appreciation, and beginner composition. These supporting lessons provide a complete musical education.

My goal is to help students achieve their musical dreams while developing strong skills, confidence, and a lifelong appreciation for music.
