About Tomasa
Scales and arpeggios are often misunderstood as mere drills rather than the building blocks of musical freedom. Proper posture and hand position allow for years of injury-free playing while chord voicing and jazz improvisation open up new harmonic territories.
I integrate 12 years of experience with my BS in Music Industry from USC Thornton School of Music to guide you through classical repertoire or pop and contemporary styles. Memorization techniques and sight playing are taught alongside grade exam prep for ABRSM or Trinity boards. My approach emphasizes the mechanics of the instrument to ensure you understand how to control the sound. Playing music should be a journey that feels like a natural extension of your own personality.
