About Wren
I am a piano educator with 12 years of teaching experience and a PhD in Piano Studies. Throughout my career, I have helped students build strong technical foundations while developing confidence and enjoyment in their musical growth.
My teaching style combines patience, structure, and adaptability. I believe students learn most effectively when lessons balance technical development with creative exploration. Every learner receives individualized guidance that supports their personal goals and learning preferences.
Outside teaching, I enjoy studying piano repertoire, accompanying performers, and exploring different musical styles. These experiences enrich my lessons and provide students with a broader musical perspective. I look forward to helping learners grow into confident and expressive pianists.

My piano lessons focus on helping students become well-rounded musicians through a balanced approach to technique and artistry. We work on finger strength, sight reading, rhythm control, hand coordination, articulation, dynamics, and musical interpretation. Lessons are carefully structured to encourage steady progress while maintaining enjoyment and motivation.
I incorporate technical studies, repertoire exploration, ear training, rhythm development, duet activities, and performance preparation into lessons. Students receive personalized support that helps them strengthen their skills while building confidence in their musical abilities. Learning activities are adapted to suit each student's goals and experience level.
Every lesson encourages discipline, creativity, and self-confidence. I provide practical guidance and supportive feedback that help learners continue improving with purpose. My goal is to help students enjoy the piano while developing the skills needed for long-term musical success.
