About Whitney
"I am a piano tutor with 7 years of teaching experience and a Bachelor of Music in Classical Piano. I enjoy creating lessons that encourage students to take part, stay curious, and enjoy the learning process. My goal is to help every student build confidence while developing a strong understanding of music.
I teach music theory, music history, technical skills, and creative expression in a balanced and practical way. Every lesson is adapted to match the student's age, experience, and personal goals. Whether you are learning for exams, performances, or personal enjoyment, I will guide you at a pace that feels comfortable.
I have worked with young children, teenagers, adults, and senior learners from many different backgrounds. One adult student returned to piano after many years and was soon playing favorite pieces with confidence through regular practice and simple goals. Seeing students reach milestones like these is one of the most rewarding parts of my work.
I believe learning piano should be enjoyable, encouraging, and meaningful. I would be delighted to help you grow your skills and enjoy every step of your musical journey."

"I teach both children and adults with lessons that build strong technique, healthy practice habits, and a genuine love for piano. Every lesson includes activities that keep learning interesting and encourage steady progress. I use music games, backing tracks, and a mix of classical and popular pieces to make lessons enjoyable and motivating.
Some students come to lessons looking for a calm and positive space where music helps them relax and feel more confident. Others enjoy exploring improvisation, modern rhythms, and creative playing while strengthening their technical skills. I support both learning styles with flexible lessons that match individual goals.
Practice is divided into simple steps so students can make progress without feeling overwhelmed. One student became much more confident after recording a short performance at the end of each week and listening back to notice improvements. Small achievements help build lasting motivation.
I encourage students to ask questions, try new ideas, and enjoy every stage of learning. Every lesson is planned around the student's needs, interests, and pace of learning. My goal is to help every learner become a confident pianist who enjoys making music for years to come."
