Reading fluency is key, so I guide students to recognize notes and rhythms quickly, turning sheet music into music they can play confidently. Real-time rhythm training helps develop a strong sense of timing and groove, essential for all styles. I also include duet playing to encourage listening skills, teamwork, and musical conversation. I adapt lessons to match each student’s pace and goals, creating a fun and supportive environment. Some students thrive when learning popular music, while others focus on music for community and worship settings. I provide personalized guidance that nurtures both technical skills and emotional connection to the music. My goal is to help every student express themselves freely on the piano. With step-by-step motivation and a clear structure, students gain confidence and joy in their playing. Together, we turn practice into a rewarding musical journey.
