About Millie
My BFA is in sculpture and creative writing and my MFA is in poetry. I taught at the collegiate level starting immediately after graduating in 2020 and taught through the pandemic until last semester. My goal as an educator is to facilitate a positive learning space to ask questions and investigate what language can be to each student.

My lessons are informative and playful. I have a background in Fine Art and approach language as a material to be utilized and manipulated in whichever way we please. My creative approach to language has helped many students find a new love of poetry and reading for pleasure.
