About Cassidy

For 9 years, I have been teaching guitar to students of all ages, including high school students, college learners, and elderly adults. I love teaching because it allows me to share my passion for music and help people discover new skills. I have taught around 150–200 students during my journey. A milestone I am proud of is coaching a student who struggled with rhythm but later performed beautifully at a college event.

Seeing their confidence grow step by step encouraged me to keep giving my best as a tutor. My teaching style is warm, simple, and encouraging. I focus on helping students understand the basics clearly and build confidence through practice. I want every learner to feel comfortable, motivated, and excited to play guitar.

About the lesson

My methodology for teaching Guitar is based on simple communication, flexible strategies, and strong musical foundations. I teach not only Guitar but also Music Theory Basics, Rhythm Patterns, Fingerstyle Foundations, Improvisation, and Song Breakdown lessons. I always start by understanding the student’s learning style—visual, auditory, or hands-on—and then adapt the lesson accordingly. I use real-life music examples to show how techniques appear in everyday playing.

For example, while teaching scales, I relate them to solos. When teaching chords, I show how they form the structure of songs. I also include case studies from different genres like pop, rock, blues, and acoustic music. This helps students understand how different styles use similar concepts. My goal is to help students grow steadily, stay motivated, and enjoy each step of their musical journey.
