About Kaitlyn
I am currently studying Political Science: Public Policy and Communications at UCSD. I have done competitive Public Speaking for 5 years now. I have won local, state, and national awards in Speech and Debate at both the high school and college level. I have taught students both involved in this activity and unaffiliated with it to become stronger speakers for the last 3 years. I have taught theatrical, informative, conversational, and persuasive public speaking to many students at different levels.

I am a current first-year undergraduate student at the University of California San Diego. I give lessons to whoever needs help with their public speaking skills and for whatever reason. My method of instruction includes doing a preliminary speech to see where the student needs improvement. After, I will personalize lessons for that student's needs. Using a very interactive teaching style with a lot of practice in between, the student will be speaking a lot of the class. I am very patient, understanding, outgoing, and responsible. I was in the position of not knowing how to public speak for a long time, so I am compeltely understanding of students needs and emotions throughout the process.
