About Lorraine
As a highly skilled and patient tutor with over 10 years of experience, I have worked with a diverse range of students, including those with special needs. My experience has equipped me with the necessary skills and techniques to effectively tailor my lessons to meet the individual needs of each student. I take great pride in being able to help students overcome their challenges and reach their full potential.
I firmly believe that every student deserves equal opportunities to learn and grow, and I bring this mindset into my tutoring sessions. Furthermore, my educational background has provided me with a strong foundation to excel as a tutor. I myself completed the International Baccalaureate (IB) program, which has instilled in me the values of international-mindedness and critical thinking. This has been further enhanced by my experience of studying in both international and American schools, giving me a well-rounded understanding of different educational systems and teaching methods. Additionally, I am a certified Global Thinker, which has helped me develop a global perspective and cultural sensitivity, essential skills when working with students from diverse backgrounds.
Apart from my qualifications and experience, I am also enthusiastic, creative, and dedicated in my approach to teaching. I believe that making learning enjoyable and engaging is key to helping students succeed. I am constantly exploring new teaching strategies and methods to make my lessons more interactive and impactful, and I am eager to bring this energy and passion to you!

I believe learning should be a fun experience, school is already stressful. Though there is a certain strictness when it comes to maintaining the schedule, there is freedom to laugh and make mistakes. I tutor anyone up until the last year of high school.
