Hey there! I'm Ava, a political science student who goes to Penn State University. I love history and language arts more than anything, and I love sharing knowledge with people. I've never met a stranger; I only know friends!
When I'm not working or learning, you can find me playing guitar, catching up on comic books, or hanging out with my cats. I have so many interests and I always love to share!

When it comes to tutoring, I like to let you guide our path. We'll figure out what you know, then we can get into what you don't. Never be afraid of the things you don't know; we all have to start somewhere and that means there's nowhere to go but up! My tutoring style rests in conversation; I like to talk things out and get you thinking. I always love to hear other folks' thoughts and opinions!
I specialize in working with middle school and high school students, as well as students with ADD/ADHD and mental health struggles. If you're currently in school, I'm here for homework help and test prep. Outside of the school year, I'm ready to help you get ahead and be prepared for the next school year!
Aristotle said, "Educating the mind without educating the heart is no education at all." and I truly believe that! I don't teach anything I'm passionate about, and I won't stop until you're passionate about it too!
