About Ruby Mae
I am an undergraduate politics and criminology student looking to help students with SQA modern studies. I achieved SQA A grades at National 5 and Advanced Higher levels, and want to help others do the same! I have helped students out in classes with their studies as well as one-on-one.

My teaching method is quite flexible- I like the student to lead by telling me what they're struggling with, and rather than giving an outright answer, I like to nurture their analytical and critical thinking skills and help them draw out a response themselves. I believe a successful Modern Studies student requires confidence and self-belief to put their own ideas and societal analysis forward, which is what I try and promote.
