About James
Hello I'm James, I'm 30 and a tutor for GCSE and A-Level Politics. I graduated from the University of Birmingham in 2018 with a Master's degree in International Relations. I'm passionate about politics and increasing everyone's knowledge and enthusiasm for the subject! I'm an expert in British, European and American politics and curate my lessons around my students' goals and development areas. Outside of tutoring, I am Senior Programme Manager for a charity where I coach students from disadvantaged backgrounds into graduate careers. I'm also a huge Liverpool FC fan and love going to concerts around Manchester.

My lessons are usually 1 hour long, but I can be flexible for longer sessions if needed. I received an undergraduate degree from the University of Birmingham in Politics and then a Master's Degree in International Relations. My lessons are for anyone taking GCSEs or A-Level politics. I have a strong knowledge of British, European and American politics alongside political history. I will firstly aim to understand the needs and goals of the student and build both understanding of the curriculum but also enthusiasm for the subject. This will be done through interactive learning, explaining concepts, completing exercises and giving feedback.
