About Nikolaos
I am a recent Politics and International Relations graduate with experience working in education charities, diplomatic missions and think tanks. I achieved A grades in A-Level History and A-Level Politics, giving me a strong first-hand knowledge of effective revision strategies and exam technique. I am familiar with AQA, Edexcel and CIE exam boards and tailor my lessons to their specific content and assessment criteria. I am highly organised, reliable, and passionate about helping students build confidence, strong academic skills, and independent thinking.

My lessons focus on clear explanations, exam technique, and the development of model answers by building strong subject knowledge through discussion, source analysis, and textbook work. Sessions usually last 60 minutes. I have strong academic experience in both subjects and tailor each lesson to the student’s learning style and exam board, helping to build confidence, critical thinking, and consistent progress.

Nikolaos is an incredible teacher and an even better friend. Over the course of 6 months, he propelled me to attain an A* in my History A Level; a feat I would have considered unimaginable back in Year 12. His immense support, patience and hard work help me gain confidence in myself. I think what truly distinguished him was his warm approach. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a kind and understanding tutor who will truly tailor their approach to you.
