About Cameron
Hi, I'm Cameron. I'm a 23 year old currently in his final year of studying for a masters in International Journalism. I am an outgoing person with a love for writing, music and sport. I studied Politics at undergraduate level. This helped continue my passion for History which remained a hobby of mine throughout my studies. I have been tutoring privately for around two years now. This helped me realise how much I enjoyed teaching lessons and convinced me that often it is only a few simple changes that are needed to help students attain higher grades.

Fundamentally I believe that while schools do a remarkable job in working through often bloated syllabuses, there is a puzzling lack of focus on exam technique. This is essential to achieving top grades. Often I have found students have a great knowledge of the topic, but are struggling to become accustomed to higher level essay methods. I believe with a few simple changes a student can easily start achieving higher grades. Having had a difficult experience with my own A-Level teachers, I am conscious of the detrimental effect this can have on the passion to learn. This is why I have a light hearted approach to learning, trying to keep lessons as enjoyable as possible while making sure we cover all the work for the day.
