About Beth

I am a French tutor with 6 years of experience teaching high school and college students, having helped over 150 learners achieve fluency, academic success, and confidence in communication. My teaching philosophy emphasises personalised learning, tailoring each lesson to the student’s pace, goals, and preferred learning style.

I integrate real-life conversation practice, multimedia exercises, role-playing, and cultural insights to make lessons engaging, practical, and enjoyable. My unique skill lies in simplifying challenging grammar and vocabulary, enabling students to absorb and apply concepts with confidence.

I aim to create a supportive and motivating environment, where students feel encouraged to take risks, explore language, and celebrate progress. Lessons are designed to balance academic growth with practical communication skills.

Teaching French is my passion. I strive to provide a tailored, interactive, and enriching experience, helping students develop fluency, cultural awareness, and a lifelong appreciation for the language.

About the lesson

My French teaching methodology emphasises real-world communication and steady growth. I believe learning should be practical and goal-oriented. I use real-life case studies such as interviews, presentations, workplace communication, and everyday conversations to make lessons meaningful. Grammar is taught in context so students understand how to apply it correctly.

Problem-solving exercises help learners respond confidently in different situations. Motivation plays a key role in my classes. I encourage students to practise regularly and celebrate small achievements. Integrity is one of my strongest values, and I maintain honesty and respect in every session. I am flexible and customise lessons according to the student’s proficiency level and objectives.

Along with French, I also teach related subjects such as pronunciation training, vocabulary expansion, communication skills, and exam preparation techniques. My goal is to help students achieve fluency and confidence in French.
