Growing up in Nice, I found that music was the only way to truly understand the soul of the French language. I have spent 13 years living between the worlds of chanson française and Québécois folk music.
This deep immersion allowed me to grasp the subtle nuances of idioms and everyday expressions that textbooks often ignore. Honestly, I find that grammar is best absorbed through the rhythm of a well-told story or a classic folk song. Having taught 450 students, I recognize that language is a bridge to culture rather than a list of rules.
