I love teaching because I understand what it takes to create an environment that is welcoming, safe and fun for learners to truly progress in their language learning. I'm passionate about languages and I also understand how necessary a language is if you are in a foreign-speaking country. I'm patient, empathetic and a great teacher. I use a dynamic approach to teaching, changing activities and formats throughout the lesson. I also focus on using the language to communicate, so you will feel confident and competent when you use English. I understand how nerve-racking it can be to learn another language, but with me you'll feel comfortable enough to make mistakes, learn and build confidence! Students always have a voice so the lessons are relevant to you and your life.
Content lessons are usually one hour long, while I also offer 30 minute speaking lessons. Students of all ages and backgrounds are welcome!
I have a degree in French and physical education teaching, a TEFL certificate and over two years experience teaching English as a foreign language (to South Americans, Turkish, Mongolian, Japanese, Chinese, Europeans and many more!) with a great track record.
