About Elliott
Going through education I found mainstream schooling incredibly difficult, always thinking of ways I could improve the education myself and others received - also hoping to incorporate the amazing teaching experiences I have received; having studied at a range of levels and locations, including a semester I studying Kommunikations design at Augsburg University in Bavaria, Germany. Currently studying for my master's degree in my chosen specialism - I plan to pursue my PhD/Doctorate and potentially a PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate in Education), with a dream of teaching at a higher education whilst maintaining my own career. I am absolutely fascinated by the connection between art, design, technology and philosophy - exploring the limitless possibilities these subjects offer in tandem.

Hello, I'm Elliott and I teach a range of practical and theory design-related subjects/topics and software. From colour theory to Fusion360, Adobe, preparing for university or essay/dissertation prep/support and more. For those potentially concerned with my background, I am also DBS checked and can happily provide a certificate upon request. My lessons can be structured or student-led focusing on the topics they, or you, wish to learn or equally following GCSE, A-Level or BTEC Art and Design curriculums. I hope my lessons are a great contrast from the traditional classroom - offering a fun one-to-one teaching style, flowing the lesson around the student's interests and needs. If you are not sure what it is you need but would like support throughout your creative/art or design journey I am also able to take a mentoring approach working as little or often as you like. I am aware that sometimes extra tuition or tutorship can seem boring and extra work, however, I hope to create a creative space students feel comfortable and excited to share their interests, building these into the lessons. Besides the additional focus, I am aware some students don't work well in a traditional classroom setting for instance those who study with SpLD's (Specific Learning Differences) such as Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, ADD, ADHD and more. Although I do not have any specific training to help aid these specific needs, I am aware of the difficulties this poses with teaching - as part of my lessons we are able to integrate breaks, regular changes in topics to maintain attention and much more to suit your needs. If you or your child is worried about SpLD's affecting lessons, please get in touch to discuss your needs. Alongside my educational qualifications, I am a freelance designer specialising in emerging technologies - exploring how technology can be used to create unique and immersive connections. I am currently studying a Postgraduate Masters Degree in Interaction Design at the University of Arts London; I recently graduated with a first-class honours degree in Graphic Communications at Falmouth University of Arts. Previously graduating Stafford College with a Triple Distinction Star within Art & Design. Lastly an A* in Product Design at GCSE. If you would like to know more about my interests and work please get in touch and I would be happy to show a range of my own work both practical and theory. If you have any questions at all, no question too small, please feel free to get in touch to see how I can help you!

Excellent communication with a clear structure and an obvious care for his student. Always going the extra step to make you feel like a priority, and I wouldn’t be where I am now without his help. Thanks Elliott.
I am more than happy to write Elliott a review for him as he's been nothing but kind to say the least. Elliott has tutored me on and off for the past several years - whenever I am stuck I always know theres one person I can go to no matter what area of graphic design it is. typography, animation, 3d modelling are just a few things to name a few... I can be a bit slow sometimes which is just a testament to how patient he is... he never gets annoyed even if I ask him the same question 50'000 times! - he breaks everything down and into bitesize bits of information that even people like me can understand! The only thing I would complain about... he doesn't charge enough (but I can't complain hahah). Thanks for all your help Elliott :)
Elliott is an Amazing Tutor I have worked along side him for years and have always been incredibly grateful for all of his time and seemingly endless knowledge. I'd highly recommend him to anyone wanting to learn about design (graphic or other) or computing. - Alongside his great range of knowledge, Elliott is incredibly easy to talk to and get along with, both friendly and incredibly professional! Could not recommend him enough.
Elliott is a patient tutor who takes you through things step by step and explains things thoroughly. I feel more confident approaching Adobe software when wanting to realise my creative ideas, bringing them to life. I couldn't be more positive of the teaching experience I have had with Elliott and would highly recommend!
