About Gemma
I hold a Bachelor of Arts in English Communication Studies and have 7 years of teaching experience. My passion for English comes from communication, reading, and helping people express ideas clearly. Over time, I developed a strong interest in teaching students how to use English confidently in daily life. I enjoy supporting learners from different backgrounds and goals.
My teaching style is friendly, structured, and practical. I focus on helping students build confidence step by step rather than rushing progress. Lessons are adapted to each learner’s pace and comfort level. I believe consistent practice and encouragement are key to improvement.
Outside teaching, I enjoy reading modern literature and studying communication methods. These interests help me make lessons more engaging and useful. I continuously improve my teaching strategies to support better learning. My goal is to help students become confident English speakers.

My English lessons focus on helping students speak and understand English in real-life situations with confidence. I begin with core grammar concepts, sentence structure, vocabulary building, pronunciation practice, and listening comprehension. Students also work on reading short texts and understanding meaning in context. Each topic is explained in simple steps so learners can follow easily without confusion. My goal is to build a strong foundation that supports natural communication.
As students progress, lessons include daily conversation practice, guided speaking tasks, storytelling activities, role-play situations, and writing exercises. I encourage students to express ideas freely while improving accuracy over time. Vocabulary is taught through usage in real contexts instead of memorization. Listening practice includes different accents and speaking speeds to improve adaptability. This helps students become more confident in real conversations.
Advanced learners focus on fluency development, interview preparation, presentation skills, and structured writing improvement. I also help students reduce hesitation and speak more naturally in professional and personal situations. My goal is to help learners communicate clearly, confidently, and independently.
