About Nico
I started my career at 2PointPerspective during my last year of college at the Mies Vanderhoe School of Architecture in Chicago. It was a small boutique residential and commercial interiors design firm.
After graduating I worked at Ross Barney Architects on the Chicago Riverwalk, Bloomingdale Trail (606), and several CTA/CDOT transit projects until I moved to Milwaukee in 2014.
Since moving to Milwaukee, I've worked with Kahler Slater, EUA, and Bray on local and regional projects including the Summerfest Renovations from Miller Stage to North Gate, Commercial Interiors, Mixed-use Development 'Bottleworks' in Indiana, Healthcare renovations, and the new Neenah Highschool.
Starting in 2022 I've worked with Paradigm E+C, and Harrell Design Group on Major and Minor Veteran Affairs Hospital renovation projects.
In summary, I'm in a unique point in my career, where I've seen a lot of different ways to reach clients' goals. I still work in Revit on a daily basis to reach deadlines and coordinate with engineers, so I'm in a position to communicate how we should be using Revit to make our designs and lives easier.

Instruction is meant for Architectural and Interiors Interns, through 5 years of experience. I have worked in revit design, documentation, and construction administration for about 10 years, on projects including healthcare, entertainment, commercial interiors, mixed-use, and VA major/minor projects.
I will tailor each session to your interests. If we're looking at doors, we will look at family setup, hardware, scheduling, filters, and setting up plan and schedule sheets with legend types. Basically we'll look holistically at the steps we need to take from design to construction documents, at your pace.
Class types: Model setup, Sheet and plan setup, Wall types and Details, finish plans and modelling, Sections and Details, AWI Casework modelling and detailing, Doors, Windows, VA standards and procedures for major/minor projects.
