About Megan
I have lots of teaching experience with a range of ages. I spent a year teaching a class of year 5/6 students French, once a week, as well as tutoring a range of GCSE subjects 1 on 1. I have other experiences of engaging young people in learning, from leading chess and debate clubs, to volunteering at the Durham Youth Theatre. I am enthusiastic to help you achieve your English language goals! Qualifications: A-level: French A, History A*, English Literature A* AS level: French A, Biology A. Currently studying: Law with French Law, University of Oxford.
I offer an opportunity to practice English conversation and go through assignments with a fluent native speaker.

Tailored lesson lengths and styles available. We could work speaking confidence, go through exam papers, or I can offer feedback on writing tasks. Lessons can also be made light and game-focused for younger years. Typically students/parents send lesson themes in advance and I create a lesson. I ask questions to gauge the student's starting point and we build a lesson personalised to you. I am a fluent, native English speaker, able to support my lessons with French.

Megan helped me with my English A levels and is probably the only reason I managed to pass. She's extremely good at explaining and very patient.
Very bright and skilled at communicating complex ideas. Megan is a true superprof. She has given me lots of support both academically and emotionally. I would trust her with my child if I had one.
Megan is a great partner to study with as she understands concepts from many approaches and teaching styles. She is excellent to learn with as you will retain the content covered no matter the subject. Sincerely, Chanel, who achieved history and biology with her x
Megan is a kind, intelligent and patient friend and teacher.
Megan is talented at explaining in detail difficult or confusing topics, such as when she would explain politics to me in 6th Form. We're close friends and I can confirm she is fluent in French and certainly able to teach it.
Being both a classmate and a friend of Megan's, I have seen over several years that she is both hard working and extremely dedicated to everything she does. She has taken on several 1:1 tutoring roles and gone above and beyond to assist a wide range of abilities as well as ages. Megan is always patient and willing to come up with different approaches and methods to best explain the content she is teaching.
I know Megan very well, and she is one of the most studious people I've ever met. She's excellent at teaching, and enthusiastic when doing so. She is organised, very knowledgeable, and good at planning. She would no doubt be able to offer highly useful and effective tutoring to anyone who needs it. She is also a lovely person, so I'm sure you'll get along!
Megan is incredibly hard working, with an excellent attention to detail. She was a good friend of mine in Sixth Form where she was constantly going above and beyond, and really valued her tutoring roles.
