About Ronav

I have 7 years of teaching experience and hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Violin Studies. My academic education focused on bow mechanics, ensemble coordination, music interpretation, and structured skill development methods. This background allows me to present violin techniques in a clear and organized way for students at different levels.

I have worked with beginners building strong foundational posture and with intermediate learners refining advanced techniques. I believe that consistent practice, careful correction, and positive encouragement are key elements of musical success. My teaching style is patient, structured, and motivating.

Teaching violin allows me to guide students toward both technical excellence and artistic confidence. Seeing learners grow into expressive and disciplined musicians brings me lasting fulfillment and inspires me to continue teaching with professionalism and care.

About the lesson

My violin lessons are structured to develop accurate pitch control, steady bow movement, relaxed posture, and expressive phrasing. At the start of training, I carefully assess shoulder balance, chin rest positioning, bow grip technique, and finger placement accuracy. Proper physical alignment is essential because it allows students to produce a clear and resonant tone without tension. We begin with long bow exercises on open strings to build consistent sound production, followed by slow scale practice to improve finger accuracy and pitch awareness. I clearly explain how bow speed, pressure control, and contact point influence tonal quality.

As learners advance, we introduce shifting exercises, vibrato development, string crossing coordination, and articulation refinement. Each technique is practiced slowly before increasing tempo to ensure technical security. Musical pieces are selected according to the student’s ability and goals. We focus on phrasing, dynamic variation, tempo control, and expressive storytelling. I provide detailed corrections and structured repetition to strengthen confidence and accuracy.

For more advanced learners, I include performance preparation sessions, memory strengthening techniques, and stage confidence development. Students gradually develop smoother transitions, richer tone projection, improved endurance, and artistic maturity. My goal is to combine disciplined technique with expressive musical understanding.
