About Alwyn
My name is Alwyn Smith, I have been teaching/coaching for 4 years now.
I enjoy seeing my students getting better at English as we progress through the lessons. For the adults doing the IELTS exams, it brings me so much joy to hear back from them with the positive news of landing a job overseas or getting a successful application to a college or university.
I did a 3 diploma through the PGASA, and along with that, I did a level 5, 180-hour certificate in teaching English with Mindfulness and Yoga for young learners. I also did a certificate in IELTS.

For most of my classes, I make use of Experiential Learning which contains four elements, Concrete Experience, Reflective Observation, Abstract Conceptualisation, and Active Experimentation.
I offer fun and interactive classes in English to children and adults that can speak basic English. A typical lesson will be structured around the student's specific needs and goals and the lesson will be 45 min.
