About Lincoln
I am a passionate flute tutor with over 12 years of experience teaching students from school to college level, and my journey with music has been both meaningful and inspiring. The flute has always been more than just an instrument to me—it is a way to express emotions, creativity, and discipline.
Over the years, I have had the privilege of working with a wide range of students, from beginners who are just starting their musical journey to advanced learners who want to refine their skills. One of my proudest achievements has been guiding students to perform confidently in school events, competitions, and stage programmes, helping them overcome fear and believe in themselves.
My teaching style is simple, patient, and student-focused, where I emphasise strong fundamentals such as breathing control, posture, finger technique, and tone clarity. I also ensure that every lesson is engaging, interactive, and enjoyable so students stay motivated and consistent in their practice.
I strongly believe that music education plays a vital role in building confidence, focus, and creativity, and my goal is to not only teach flute but also inspire students to develop a lifelong connection with music and continue growing beyond the classroom.

My teaching approach for flute combines Motivation, Communication, Integrity, and Creativity to help students learn in a simple and effective way. I aim to make lessons enjoyable while also focusing on discipline and consistency.
I begin by understanding the student’s learning style and goals, which helps me provide personalised guidance. I motivate students by encouraging regular practice and celebrating their achievements.
Communication helps me explain important techniques such as breath control, fingering, posture, and tone production clearly. With integrity, I ensure students learn step by step and develop a strong foundation. I provide honest feedback and guide them patiently.
Creativity allows me to include songs, exercises, and fun learning methods that make lessons engaging. In addition to flute, I also teach music basics like rhythm, scales, and listening skills to support overall development.
