About Emily
I was fortunate enough to be taught Classically for over a decade and continue to apply the lessons and strategies that I learned today in college. I have past experience running study groups, peer tutoring programs, performing student tutoring, and private tutoring arrangements for all subjects over the past five years. Additionally, I have particular experience in AP style English courses, debate, Rhetoric, and fully online/remote learning. I am passionate about my education and exited to help anyone on their learning journey.

Classical education is a form of learning which aims to teach you how to think and analyze anything in front of you and apply it; a method I have used repeatedly in peer, student, and private tutoring for years. This method allows students to gain confidence and abilities beyond a single lesson or even subject- it prepares students of all ages for their work to come be it reading, writing, public speaking, debate, or anything else. While I would love to have a cut and dry formula for every lesson, each person is different; the have different strengths and weaknesses and different needs to be addressed. I am confident in my ability to tutor students in grade levels K-12 in any subject and happy to aid in study tactics for those working on college level course in humanities courses.
