About Emily
At school I studied English literature at GCSE level gaining a grade A* as well as studying it at A level, gaining an A grade. I have experience analysing poetry as well as modern day texts and older texts such as those written by Shakespeare.

My teaching method is primarily based on looking at areas an individual struggles with the most. Within a lesson I like to look at examples, going through with a student to start with and then letting them independently have a go themselves. At the end of a lesson I like to have a recap over what has been discussed and make sure that the student can ask questions and feel fully comfortable with the skill.
