About Sharon
I am a single mum to a 6th year Oxford medical student. I graduated with a 2:1 (Hons) from Newcastle University and a Master's degree from Durham University myself. I am a former social worker who retrained as a Primary Teacher and hold QTS. I teach to make a difference and open doors for children and young people - to support them to attain their goals and academic ambitions.

Thank you for considering my tutoring services. I am a qualified primary teacher with QTS, who has worked in education for over 20 years. I am available most weekdays after school and weekends. I have taught Maths and English to key stage 3; Geography, History to GCSE; I am very experienced in SATS Maths and English prep and am trained in a range of phonics and reading booster interventions. I can tutor online or in person and am flexible for your needs.
