My approach to teaching is calm, structured, and child-centered. I prioritize building a trusting relationship with each child so they feel safe, confident, and motivated to learn. Lessons are carefully tailored to the individual child, taking into account their strengths, needs, pace of learning, and confidence levels. I focus on clear explanations, practical activities, and repetition where needed, while keeping sessions engaging and positive. I place a strong emphasis on understanding rather than rote learning, particularly in literacy and math. For children with additional needs, I use clear routines, visual supports, differentiated strategies, and gentle encouragement to help them succeed. I also integrate well-being and emotional regulation strategies, helping children manage frustration, build resilience, and develop confidence in their own abilities.
