I'm an education support worker at a primary school, and I'm currently pursuing my Bachelor's Degree in Primary Education. I work with a range of children aged between 5 to 13, and can accommodate anything the learner requires to have an interactive, engaging experience in learning. I use a blended teaching approach (using technology where appropriate) and aim to incorporate gamification into learning to maximize learner engagement. My philosophy is that students need to be active participants in their education, and that can be more achievable when learning is personalized and interesting. The duration of a lesson is typically an hour. I spend 10-15 minutes explaining the theory aspect of the lesson, and allocate the rest for practice.
