About Forzana
My name is Forzana, and I am a UK-qualified teacher and ESOL specialist with experience across the British curriculum. I have always been passionate about learning, language, and helping others build confidence in their abilities. I chose teaching because I believe education has the power to open doors, create opportunities, and change how people see themselves. I enjoy supporting learners as they grow in confidence, develop new skills, and begin to understand things that once felt challenging or out of reach. I believe learning should feel supportive, encouraging, and purposeful. Everyone deserves to feel heard, respected, and capable, regardless of their starting point. My role is to guide, explain, encourage, and adapt teaching so learning feels achievable and meaningful. What motivates me most is seeing progress, whether that’s increased confidence in communication, stronger understanding, or a growing belief in one’s own abilities. Teaching is not just about academic outcomes; it’s about empowering learners to feel confident, independent, and proud of their progress. My teaching approach is learner-centred, supportive, and focused on building strong foundations while developing confidence and independence. As a UK-qualified primary school teacher and ESOL specialist, I recognise that everyone learns in different ways and progresses best when teaching is tailored to individual needs.
I begin by getting to know each learner through discussion, observation, and assessment to identify strengths, gaps, and learning preferences. Sessions are carefully planned with clear structure and progression, ensuring key skills are developed in a meaningful and practical way.
I create a calm, positive learning environment where questions are encouraged and mistakes are seen as part of the learning process. Teaching is clear, engaging, and interactive, using a range of strategies and resources to support understanding and long-term retention.
For those learning English as an additional language, there is a strong focus on vocabulary development, spoken communication, and comprehension, supporting confident use of English in everyday and academic contexts.
I value clear communication and ongoing feedback, celebrating progress while setting achievable goals. My aim is to support steady improvement, build confidence, and foster a positive attitude towards learning.
