About Sarah

I am currently a primary school teacher working in year 6, however I have worked across all age groups in the past 10 years teaching experience that I have. I also teach private 1:1 tutoring classes to boost children’s math and English in preparations for ks2 Sats or for general catch up purposes.
I believe mindset is key and within every lesson I ensure that a growth and positive attitude towards learning is embedded deep into the subconscious as opposed to a ‘fixed’ mindset. I have a passion for the love of learning and you will see this throughout all of my teaching and worldly experiences. Learning doesn’t end at childhood and I reiterate this with my conversations with children. I believe education is the key to the future as well as focusing on our mind by learning how we learn best to ensure we reach our true potential. I am bubbly, warm and friendly and your children will make as much progress as they intend to. Any questions, please ask!

About the lesson

My own personal philosophy on teaching and learning is that it is lifelong process where learning never ends.
I am a great travel enthusiast and have backpacked in many parts of the world where I have been so enthralled in every adventure and experience that I have come across. I enjoy learning about new cultures, languages, ways of life and nature and in all my classes I try to relay these experiences to inspire the children to want to learn more about the world too.
I aim for children to make substantial amounts of progress by reiterating a growth and positive mindset throughout all lessons to ensure they enjoy their learning as well as understanding the big important ‘WHY’ we are doing it. Lessons are inclusive and adapted to all needs and abilities to ensure your children receive the very best. I am passionate about what I do and am always willing to improve and be flexible according to all your needs!
