About Alice
I am currently a student teacher who will be fully qualified in July 2021. I have a degree in Criminology which is a huge passion of mine but I decided to change career paths to become a primary school teacher! ️
I enjoy teaching all subjects but my favourites are English and History. I have experience working with all primary ages 3-11 and I have an excellent understanding of the national curriculum and learning required for young people. I love delivering lessons in a fun and creative way as I understand that not all children learn the same. Helping children achieve their full potential is very important to me and I believe this can be achieved through tutoring classes️

My teaching method is to engage pupils in a stimulating and creative manner. I understand not all children learn the same so I understand the importance of using visual and practical resources during lessons! I aim to teach with mastery, meaning that children won’t just understand what they are learning but also understand why it is important. I aim to help children reach their full ability, at the end of each lesson I believe it is vital that a child should be able to feel confident enough to explain the lesson back to me so I clearly see they have understood the learning objective. Some children may take long to pick up a certain subject which is absolutely fine as everyone has different strengths and weaknesses! My teaching method will allow children to find a learning style that suits them to bridge the gaps in their learning so they feel fully confident across all subjects️
