About Lorna
I am a fully qualified primary school teacher and have taught across KS1 and KS2 as well as teaching within a specialist SEND provision.
I have been teaching in schools for 7 years and have been tutoring for 2 years. I am passionate about making sure all children succeed to the best of their ability and I know that sometimes the school environment doesn’t always allow this to happen for some children.
I enjoy working collaboratively with children and parents to provide fun, educational and engaging sessions.

I take a personalised approach to each child’s session and will plan appropriately depending on the topics we are working on. I don’t like to always use traditional teaching activities and want to make learning engaging and fun. There is so much scope to make English and Maths fun and tutoring provides those opportunities.
I am keen to expand my tutoring into home education as well.
