About Kai
I am a recent graduate at the University of Arizona. I pursued my Bachelor degrees in both Physiology and French. Additionally, I completed the Accelerated Masters Program for French. My native language is English, and I started learning French when I lived in Canada at a French immersion middle school, called Ecole Banting. I continued to study French throughout my high school and college years for my love of the language and currently I work in research at the University of Arizona.

My teaching approach is to learn in context and apply knowledge. Like other skills, learning a language requires continuous utilization of skills acquired. Presenting language in real-world scenarios in tandem with more didactic settings increases learning success and mastery. Immersive settings and lots of practice are ideal for learning and sustaining any language!
