About Dalini
I have been teaching for over 20 years. Initially from South Africa, I moved to the United Kingdom as a young, eager-faced teacher having taught in a variety of settings. At the moment I work at an all-girls school as the Head of English of the Junior school of a very successful through-school 3-18 years.

Hello, I am a friendly and approachable London-based teacher, predominantly working at Primary school level. I enjoy teaching creative writing that focuses on composition, imagination and high-quality descriptive vocabulary. I have experience working with students to improve reading comprehension techniques and verbal reasoning for 11 plus assessment and I am well-versed with 11 plus expectations. I have a degree in English and I am a native English speaker. My students describe me as kind and patient and have on many occasions expressed that they thoroughly enjoy having me as their English teacher.
