About Aaminah

I’m a passionate and approachable law tutor with a First-Class Honours degree in Law, a Master’s in Legal Practice (LLM), and I recently completed both SQE1 and SQE2, placing in the second quintile. I’ve experienced first-hand the challenges of studying law—from undergraduate level through to the rigorous SQE assessments—so I understand how overwhelming it can feel at times.

I create a friendly and structured learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and building success step-by-step.

About the lesson

I offer tailored 1-to-1 tutoring for law students and SQE candidates of all ages and levels, including those preparing for the SQE1 and SQE2 exams. Whether you’re struggling with legal concepts, need help refining your exam technique, or want targeted support for SQE assessments, I can guide you every step of the way.

My approach is friendly, focused, and completely adapted to your needs. Having recently completed SQE1 and SQE2, I understand the current structure and demands of the exams. My goal is to help you build strong legal knowledge, develop practical legal skills, and feel confident in tackling assessments.

What I can offer:
• LLB & LLM Support: Help with understanding key legal subjects, case law, essay writing, exam preparation, and research skills.
• SQE Preparation (SQE1 & SQE2): Targeted preparation to strengthen legal knowledge, legal writing, advocacy, client interviewing, and legal research.
• Feedback and Practice: Mock assessments with personalised feedback to help you improve quickly.

Aaminah tutored me from June to August in preparation for my SQE2 and I highly recommend her. She provided a clear study plan from the outset, was flexible with timings (including double sessions), and always responsive to questions.

We practiced both oral and written assessments together and her detailed feedback, guidance and exam tips were invaluable. Beyond her expertise, she was kind, personable, and supportive — helping me feel confident going into my exams.

An excellent tutor and mentor, I’m very glad to have had her support.
