About Isotta
Being passionate about foreign languages, I speak English, French and Chinese fluently. My first tutoring and teaching experience was when I was still in high school. For several years I have been teaching Italian on a Chinese website. A scholarship then led me to study at university in Xi'an, the city of the famous Terracotta Army.
I have been teaching Chinese privately to Italian students for 3 years.
In the case of high school students, some of my students have gone from having insufficient Chinese scores to an average of eight / nine over 10.
I believe in practical learning, which can be applied immediately.
Chinese is a majestic and complex language that hides the immense culture of its country. Each Chinese character contains an intrinsic meaning, linked to the history of the same. I try to make my lessons interesting by telling anecdotes about the meaning of the characters in order to make learning easier.

Each lesson begins with a review of the previous one and an explanation of the grammatical / phonetic concepts of the day. The student is stimulated to compose sentences on his own, to experiment with the language and, if necessary, to be corrected by the teacher.
Grammar is not explained with the help of a textbook, which the student is free to purchase anyway, but on daily-used practical and concrete examples.
The topics of the lessons are scheduled according to the student's needs (Chinese for school, for work, for traveling ...) and on the desired length of the course. During the first meeting, a personalized study plan is prepared together, in order to always achieve one's goals.
The lessons are perfect for students of middle school, high school, university and young workers.
