I went to Rishi when my children went back to school after lockdown, just to bring them upto speed as during the lockdown there wasn’t much learning done. He is very good at what he does. My children are much more confident in their learning. He made lessons fun for them, so they enjoyed going. Rishi helped my children with English and Maths. With just 12 months of tutoring my son achieved an A grade in A-Level Computer Science.

Leading 12 months to the exams we were told by my son's school that he does not stand a chance of passing Computer Science.

Rishi came to the rescue and I can't ever thank him enough. We were desperate for a pass. With COVID-19 over our heads, we never thought he would walk away with an A grade.

Rishi is a wonderful Computer Science Tutor. I came to him when I was stuck on a project at University and as I was in my final year, he was able to tailor all lessons to me and help create a website using Javascript, Java, PHP and SQL. The task was completed in perfect order and Rishi was helping me every step of the way, explaining the code and what is does. I would definitely recommend Rishi to help in any Computer Science related work you may struggle with.

Rishi has been teaching me for over 5 years and I never thought I would become the person I am today. I feel privileged to have him as tutor. My grades were at a very low level and I would struggle in my core subjects. As Rishi started tutoring me, I became more confident and saw a change in my self-esteem, learning how to structure and organise my work. As of my latest interim report my teachers have seen a significant change in both my behaviour and my concentration in class. Rishi covered exam techniques by giving past paper questions along with the way each type of question should be answered. For shorter questions, they had a basic format. For longer questions, Rishi covered them by allowing me to state my points and then adding anything further that could be written too. If I had any questions, he would would give hints to make me think more. If I really couldn't answer a question, he would explain it with great detail. Towards the exam season, Rishi and I would go through past papers together, which was a good approach as I was able to understand a more veriety of questions.

Homework given:
Starting off, the homework was simply to read the ICT book and making notes as well as diagrams. On top of those, he would also urge me to make flashcards with one side having a question and the other side having the answer. As it got closer to the exams, I did 1 or 2 past papers for homework.

Rishi's teaching approach is very friendly and informative. He encourages you to ask questions, which showed to me Rishi was really engaged in lessons.
