About Mafalda

The methodology is adapted to the needs and objectives of the student. Each student is unique and will have a plan tailored to their needs.

I am patient and empathetic. I motivate students to learn with pleasure, to overcome their difficulties, to have better study methods and habits that will help them throughout their journey, in school and in their future professional life.

In the moment we live, with distance learning, it is particularly relevant that students feel supported. Difficulties must be resolved as early as possible, to prevent progress from being compromised along the school path. It is very important to have good bases or get them back as early as possible - it is never too late. Investing in knowledge of the Portuguese language and culture is an investment for life.

About the lesson

Currently, I am a tutor, both in study and tutoring centers and privately. I am a proofreader and translator (PT-ENG and ENG-PT).

I am a CERTIFIED TRAINER (CCP). I am also a e-certified trainer (online learning).

In addition, I develop artistic activity in the area of writing - I collaborate with magazines - and in the area of the graphic arts - drawing and printmaking. My work has been present in exhibitions and can be seen in galleries.

Amongst other professional experiences, I have previously worked as an assistant director, TV and film producer, copywriter (content writing) and bookseller.
