About Leonardo
I’m a Senior Technical Director and pipeline developer with more than 20 years of experience in the visual effects and animation industry.
Throughout my career I’ve worked in Italy, France, Belgium, and the UK, contributing to VFX, animation, and production pipeline development across multiple studios and projects.
Over the years I’ve developed numerous production tools and workflow systems for Maya, Houdini, Blender, and mixed studio environments including automation tools, procedural workflows, asset management systems, and artist-focused pipeline solutions.
Some of the tools and systems I developed are still actively used in production environments today.
My experience combines software development, technical problem solving, and real-world production workflows, allowing me to teach Python from a practical industry perspective rather than a purely academic one.
